'The Animal Mosaic (1999) continued.

We were selected to design and fabricate the final artwork because of our particular approach to mosaic. Sections of the mosaic artwork were handmade in stoneware ceramic and glazed in washes of blues, greens and terracotta colours. This complemented the surrounding setting of marble, ceramic and glass mosaic.

We also organised mosaic workshops for the children at our studio premises on site. This was an invaluable part of the project, since they learnt the process of translating their drawings into mosaic, making animals, birds and their own names to be incorporated into the final artwork
